ACE

DSCN4835

SWEET, SMART AND UNIQUELY HANDSOME!

ADOPTED IN JUNE!

THE BASICS:

  • SHEPARD MIX with AUSTRALIAN SHEPARD and perhaps PLOTTHOUND? Black with some brindle and white markings/Est. 50-55 lbs
  • ADULT MALE; Neutered
  • EST DOB:  January 2016
  • HISTORY: Current owner must re-home Ace due to unexpected extensive absence from home due to a medical issue. NOTE: Ace is still in his current home while waiting for an opening at Caring For Creatures. It would be great if we could assist in re-homing Ace directly to a new person/family.

If you admire a dog who is sweet, smart and uniquely handsome, then Ace is your guy! Ace is currently in a home but must be re-homed as soon as possible due to owner’s extended time away from home. Caring For Creatures staff was able to meet Ace recently and found him to be a gentleman in every way and he expressed a gentle sweet nature that was endearing. Considering he walked into an environment with quite a few barking dogs announcing his arrival, he was calm and non-reactive. We did a quick cat test with Ace while he was here and he was non-reactive to two different cats – one of which was on the floor near him.

Ace is housetrained and enjoys a good cuddle with his human friend. Ace will thrive in a home where his humans are not away for extended periods of time and with folks who will help him expand his horizons with long walks or hikes and perhaps teach him a few new tricks! He has good leash walking skills and was very responsive to requests to sit and come from his current human. We can definitely see Ace as a dog that can enjoy a busy day out and about and then quickly shift into couch potato mode for a quiet evening with his human.

If you are looking for a new friend in your life, please consider Ace and his many positive qualities. Interested individuals should complete the Caring For Creatures Dog Adoption Application on our website and let us know you would like to meet Ace. Ace is still in his current home but we will make arrangements for you to meet him one on one. Questions? Call the sanctuary at 434-842-2404.
