Got Puppy Breath? If not, gosh, we sure do! Meet the fabulous, furry sibling pair of Jodie and Bailey. Found abandoned on a property not far from our Sanctuary, initially they were fearful and tentative around humans, but they have really blossomed into sweet, social, happy, playful pups! We are immensely proud of them! Curiously Jodie was the ringleader of this sibling pair at first, but now Bailey is stepping up to the plate and calling the shots. Both girls love running and playing and activating unsuspecting plush toys and are quickly learning the fine art of leash walking. Our volunteers are fast to select this bouncy pair to head out to explore our trails but to a complete stranger, they still have some residual shyness about them and might be hesitant to go and do. As the girls continue to grow and develop, we feel they are actually better suited going to different homes where they can be mentored by a well-balanced, easy going dog looking for a new companion. Smart and very alert, Jodie and Bailey would both benefit from some gentle training/guidance which will also boost their confidence levels. Have kids? These girls are a good choice but middle school age and older are most appropriate for them. Just 3-4 months old, their paws are already a good, healthy size so we expect them to do a lot of growing to fill out those pads! If bigger is better in your book, than one of these girls could be the perfect fit for you! Stop on by and try one on for size, won’t you?
