Bo's Story

CFC President, Mary Birkholz, found Bo on the side of the road on a New Year's Eve 10 years ago. He was badly injured and requred an intricate orthopedic surgery. We first agreed to foster him for the 6 - 8 weeks required for him to recover from his surgery.

It was during that time that he made himself a part of our lives and a member of our family. Bo has been a wonderfully happy dog during all these years and after a short time of being a "trash doggie" settled down to be the friendliest, most loving dog we could ever hope to have. He's now about 12 years old and is the senior citizen of our four-legged kids, and is much loved. Many thanks to Mary and CFC for saving his life and entrusting Bo to us. He's been a complete joy!
