“Sweet, loving and very gentle.” My heart soars when I hear the volunteers share their thoughts about me. I really AM an affectionate, mild mannered gal who loves the company of humans and other dogs. Described as the “perfect house guest” on a recent extreme sleepover, you should have seen how lovely I was in my crate for night time, I had no accidents (you’ve got to LOVE that!) and I was super perfect and respectful around the full time resident doggie. Can we say, I’m move in quality? An ideal day for me would be a romp in the woods where I can exercise my nose (just like any self-respecting beagle would) and legs and then some quality play time with another pet where I can share my toys and act goofy and young at heart. In meeting me, I might be just a wee bit cautious and I can be reserved in exploring new areas, but once I am settled in, you’ll find me to be happy-go-lucky and ready to go-go-go! In my middle age phase of life, a more quiet home with older kids or even older folks and certainly pre-stocked with other pets, would be my new dream home. My name is Ginger and I sure do hope, you’ll come on out and ask to be my new best friend.
