The sanctuary requires
$ 1000 a day to operate at a minimal level--- and that doesn't take into account emergencies like we currently require for our carport repairs.
As you can imagine, with the economic downturn, the animals and the sanctuary are feeling the pressure of these lean times. The 200+ animals in residence depend on the generosity of the community.

The consecutive snowstorms have wiped out all three of our carport dog pens. We've moved dogs to every available spot on the property: in the kitchen, laundry room, and offices. We are deeply grateful to our friends Jim and Betsy Brown at Pampered Pets, have taken to kennel for a while. This wonderful community is coming together in our time of need!
