Though a Plott Hound's
working claim to fame is cold trailing bear, Taylor at Caring For Creatures
is content to play with his kennel mate, Lucky, and go on long walks
with the volunteers. He easily could become a lap dog too as he loves
to cuddle with anyone willing to be his friend. Taylor's earlier life
as a stray certainly had no bearing on his current personality and attitude.
He is a cheerful pup, about five months old, and probably will not exceed
30 pounds when full grown. Though a Plott Hound mix, Taylor has the
personable nature of a purebred. Their "all-in-the-family" breeding
background makes them a fine companion. Southern owners report that
they are quick to learn and quick to love.
The staff and volunteers at CFC are happy
to confirm that.
Dandy
Don, born at the Sanctuary on June 1, 2007, is still hopeful he will
celebrate his first birthday in his very own home!
Don is litter-trained, neutered, and up-to-date on all his
vaccinations and still very much a kitten. -Check out Don (and sister,
Cheryl's) pics HERE !
